It all started on Kite Beach in April 2018. She was sitting on a small green towel, shifting it back every few minutes as the waves inched closer. Mazen, there with a friend, decided this was the perfect moment to approach. He spoke to her in Arabic and when she told him she didn’t understand, he paused for a moment and, with a smile, he said “You look Lebanese.” It wasn’t the smoothest pickup line, but somehow it worked. And just like that, our story began.
Fast forward 6 years, countless adventures, and a few heated debates over where to eat... we found ourselves on a breathtaking helicopter tour over Bali. With the stunning views as his backdrop, Mazen got down on one knee (yes, he had it all planned out!). One "YES!" later and here we are, excited to begin the next chapter of our lives together.
